Real Men Enjoy Shopping for Wedding Rings
Monday, April 25th, 2011
When your fiance complains that he’d rather watch the baseball game than go with you to pick out wedding rings, you can plop down on the couch beside him, enjoy a few chips and a coke and passively call his bluff. All the while you get to enjoy your favorite MLB team for a couple of hours. And after the game is over, your tough acting fiance will turn to you and ask if you’re ready to go, all the while acting like he’s doing it for you. Well, you can let him win a few bonus points or call him at his game. The truth is, men love the look of tungsten wedding bands and are usually very interested in picking out one.
Tungsten bands for men have a particularly smooth, yet masculine, appeal and almost all men love the symbolic aspect of the metal’s strength. And one thing about weddings, they are loaded in symbolism. This actually touches on another myth about males. They are interested in marriage and relationship commitment as much as or more so than women. And if you need proof, simply look at second marriage statistics. Far more men get married after a divorce than women. Tungsten rings appeal to men and women in visual appeal and symbolic importance, however, the metal is also tough enough to dispel a few manly myths and still stand strong.

Virtual Office Needs
Monday, April 18th, 2011
Converting a business into a virtual office is a much larger undertaking than simply relocating to new commercial space. There is a shift in a company’s culture as well as its processes and systems and all of that needs to be decided in advance, so that employees know what to expect once they are working from home.
A virtual office requires a solid technological infrastructure. Without one, there is no point in trying to go virtual. Employees and managers need to have access to software, databases, and other resources from wherever they are. This means setting up cloud servers or contracting services from a cloud provider. it is imperative that these services are affordable yet provide the necessary level of security to protect both client and company data.
More important are clear procedures and systems for home workers. They need to know how their time will be tracked and billed and what reporting and check ins are required. Project management, time tracking, and client billing systems exist to help coordinate multiple employees in different locations. There are also video conferencing, file sharing, and other productivity tools available.
Lastly, the company will still need an official storefront. This can be a virtual office NYC service that collects and forwards mail and even provides receptionist and answering services or it may be a simple mail box service that supplies a legal mailing address. In other cases, a small office may be set up that houses a single employee to serve as the front desk.

Keep LCD TVs Clean
Saturday, April 2nd, 2011
The technologies involved in televisions have come a long, long way. The very first televisions were black and white models that used cathode ray tubes to project a picture onto a screen. Over the decades the screens got better, as did the picture quality, and black and white was replaced by RGB color technology. However, little else changed until the end of the twentieth century when flat screen and high definition technology were developed.
The ability to create pictures using liquid crystal displays led to lcd computer monitors as well as the now common lcd tv . Plasma technology has also developed to allow digital pictures to be created on larger and larger flat screens. Because this technology is computerized and digital, it is extremely important that LCD TV owners keep their televisions clean.
A check of the owner’s manual will provide instructions on the type of cloth and cleaning agents that can be used to clean both the screen and the rest of the television. Usually a soft, lint free cloth can be used to wipe dust and dirt from the screen. Some specially designed cleaners are safe to use on LCD screens, but the ingredients should be checked against the manual. Compressed or canned air can be used to clean the connections and other exposed areas of the television. The priorities are preventing dust from building up inside the TV or on the screen and ensuring that the screen is not scratched or exposed to damaging chemicals.
